MDHI Announces New Executive Director
Metro Denver Homeless Initiative (MDHI) is pleased to announce the hiring of their new Executive Director, Matt Meyer. Dr. Meyer will begin his work with MDHI on March 11, 2019.

Passionate about improving the lives of marginalized members of our community, Dr. Meyer has been leading nonprofit mental health organizations for the past 13 years. He has worked extensively with older adolescents aging out of foster care, people with serious mental illness, and people experiencing both mental health and addictions who are involved with the criminal justice system. Organizationally his focus has been on program development, creating public-private partnerships, process improvement and strategy.
Dr. Meyer was raised in Los Angeles, graduated with a degree in American Studies from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. After a stint as a camera person, he received his doctorate in clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology in Alameda California. Throughout his clinical training Matt conducted program evaluations on numerous community-based organizations serving the Bay Area. As a result, he developed a passion for organizational effectiveness that has guided his career since graduation.
