The session will provide an overview of the three key areas of RRH practice (housing identification, case management and administering financial assistance), using content, discussion and workshop exercises.
Who should attend: The types of audiences may be beginners, new RRH programs, or existing RRH staff who have never attended an RRH training before.
Sponsors and facilitator: This event is co-sponsored by MDHI and VOA's CABHI Keys program.
This session will be conducted by Ashley Mann-McLellan, Senior Associate, Technical Assistance Collaborative (TAC). Ashley Mann-McLellan has over ten years of experience working on issues related to homelessness and affordable housing. She has assisted nonprofits in designing new initiatives such as health and housing partnerships, rapid re-housing models, property owner cultivation efforts, and supportive services. Ashley has experience managing multiple HUD programs that serve low-income populations. She also has demonstrated expertise in data management, program evaluation, quality improvement, and systems change strategies. At TAC, Ashley provides technical assistance to homeless planning groups and service providers, serving as a resource to communities in their efforts to design coordinated entry systems, strengthen property owner engagement strategies, implement a housing first philosophy on both the program and community levels, create a path to end homelessness, and navigate various HUD programs.
