PIT is Released! HIC and statewide youth count info as well; CHFA donates to Flex Fund, Volunteer, employment, PHA funding, and more!
On the evening of January 28, 2019, MDHI conducted the 2019 Point in Time (PIT) count, alongside stakeholders and volunteers across the region. This count occurs annually nationwide during the last ten days in January and is regionally referred to as Everyone Counts. The data is used to inform HUD and provide a snapshot of homelessness on a given night in the winter, which provides information on the scope of homelessness in metro Denver, increases community understanding and helps inform efforts to respond to the needs of our unhoused neighbors.
RRH practice session, NOFA grantee mtg, OneHome and HMIS July update, Youth Brief, Employment opportunity and The Gathering Place's Health Fair!
Thank you to everyone who has been through the many technical homes and transitions of coordinated entry (Google Platform, Homelink, Salesforce) over the past 5 years. OneHome has reached its final destination in Clarity HMIS and while changes may occur within the platform to enhance OneHome for the community, the location of the data won’t be changing.
The U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Continuum of Care (CoC) Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) competition opened on July 3. On August 1, MDHI will host a meeting for all interested applicants (including new and existing grantees).
