Veteran Mapping System Assessment

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Veteran Mapping System Assessment. This assessment is designed to identify gaps and opportunities for engagement for homeless service providers across Metro Denver to connect Veterans with VA and Veteran-specific resources in an effective and simplified manner. The interviews will be conducted in groups, gathered by program type, and then the response data will be synthesized into recommendations for improving Veteran referrals out of non-Veteran-specific programs. Attendees should be familiar with intake, referral and program processes.

Questions include:

-Do you ask if homeless participants have served in the U.S. military? If so, what do you do with that information? Is there a referral? Who do you refer them to when they are identified as a homeless Veteran?

Group interviews will take place in-person at MDHI (711 Park Ave West, Suite 320 in Denver) and on conference call during the indicated time. Please sign-up for one of the following timeslots on Friday, April 13th, listed below based on your affiliation with the respective program type:

 

Grant Per Diem Program, 9AM

Emergency Shelter, 10AM

Day Sites, Street Outreach & Diversion Specialists, 11AM

SSVF and VSOs, 1PM

Mental Health Centers, 2PM

Public Housing Authorities, 3PM
