Open Recruitment for the Regional Governing Council
Interested in informing Continuum of Care policies and standards? MDHI is now accepting applications for the Regional Governing Council (RGC). The RGC serves as a voting council working to make CoC policy recommendations to the MDHI Board of Directors. The RGC will work closely with the System Performance Council to ensure high overall system performance, as well as project level performance.

Call for Names to Honor at Homeless Persons’ Memorial Vigil
This year’s annual Homeless Persons’ Memorial Vigil will take place on Saturday, December 21. Each year, members of our community come together to honor our neighbors who experienced homelessness and died this past year by reading their names aloud. The flyer is available here for distribution.
To honor someone at this event, please send that person’s name to Kate Dill at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless via email at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Thursday, December 12. Names will also be printed in the event program and circulated to attendees. Please let Kate know if you have any questions.
Does Your Agency Need Volunteers for PIT2020?
Contact your local PIT coordinator (list here with emails) if your agency will need volunteers to help conduct the 2020 Point in Time. All Volunteer requests are due before Thanksgiving! If you are an emergency shelter, transitional housing program, or are providing motel vouchers – make sure you have confirmed your official point of contact and whether you can use a data pull from HMIS, another comparable database, or will be surveying in person.
Volunteers recruitment begins in December –and we will again be requesting staff support across the region in outreach efforts! An announcement will be made in this newsletter, the MDHI and PIT websites, and social media. Questions? Email PIT@mdhi.org anytime!
