Homeless Shelter and Encampment Peer Navigator RFP
The City and County of Denver through the Denver’s Road Home under Denver Human Services (DHS) is seeking proposals from qualified agencies and organizations to participate in a pilot project to provide a shelter and encampment peer navigator(s) to assist Denver shelter clientele, as well as homeless individuals living in encampments, with supportive services through connections with benefits, identifying areas of opportunity to fill gaps, overcome barriers and assist with housing resources. The peer navigator will need to have previously experienced homelessness and maintained their own stability for a minimum of twelve (12) months. For more information or to apply, download the RFP.
Mile High Youth Summit: Elevate Your Voice
The Cross Systems Housing Network is hosting a summit for youth who have experienced housing instability to identify gaps in the system and work on forming solutions as a community. It will be held at the Mile High United Way building from 9am-4:30pm on June 7. There will be a resource fair, three catered meals, and raffles including a laptop - Please encourage youth to attend by distributing this flyer.
HMIS Tips & Tricks: Troubleshooting Data Quality Issues on the APR
The MDHI HMIS team made a helpful video about troubleshooting data quality issues on the APR to help agencies prepare in advance of APR submission requirements. This same content would also work for ESG agencies needing to submit a CAPER.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Homeless and Housing Resource Network (HHRN) is hosting a Spotlight Series on PSH that will:
- Introduce two evidence-based practices: Housing First and Permanent Supportive Housing;
- Offer essential elements, current research and information on accessing Housing First and Permanent Supportive Housing for individuals with mental or substance use disorders to clinicians, peers, and other stakeholders; and
- Support SAMHSA's strategic plan by identifying and promoting adoption of evidence-based practices.
