OneHome staffing update
During the month of May, Ian Fletcher will be transitioning out of his role as OneHome Program Manager and into the role of Manager of System Performance at MDHI. We are excited for Ian and his new role!

Join the team and work with us to end homelessness in Metro Denver. We are actively recruiting for three positions. Lead the next phase of the region's Coordinated Entry as the OneHome Program Manager, support data-driven solutions as MDHI's HMIS Analyst or provide organizational support as a part-time Bookkeeper.
Continuum of Care NOFA - Open Office Hours
In preparation for the FY2018 CoC NOFA competition, MDHI has scheduled NOFA office hours for dates in May and June. These office hours will provide a forum to learn more about the process for the upcoming CoC NOFA competition, ask questions, and provide feedback to MDHI.
NOFA office hours are meant for both current grantees and new applicants. In fact, we strongly encourage organizations who have not applied or who have not been funded through the CoC NOFA in previous years to attend and learn more about how to prepare a successful submission.
Family Unification Program (FUP) Vouchers NOFA - HUD has announced a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for $30 million in new FUP vouchers for Public Housing Authorities, in collaboration with local Public Child Welfare Agencies (PCWAs) and the CoC. FUP Vouchers are designated for families who's lack of adequate housing is the primary factor in a child being placed out of the home or the reason a child is unable to discharge from out of home care back into the home. FUP vouchers are also utilized for Youth at least 18 years old who are homeless and have previously or are currently exiting the foster care system.
CSH and the Council of Large Public Housing Authorities (CLPHA) are jointly hosting a webinar focused on strategies that local public housing authorities, public child welfare agencies and homelessness response system partners can use to maximize Family Unification Program (FUP) housing vouchers as a platform for family and youth success. National Healthcare for the Homeless - The National HCH Council is currently coordinating a 3-year Learning Collaborative to assist programs in adopting a trauma-informed approach. This webinar will share updates on the first year of the collaborative, which engaged ten organizations serving people experiencing homelessness to develop an assessment tool to evaluate trauma-informed policies, practices, and procedures. Denver Asks for Input on Services for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Take an online survey by May 14 to give your feedback on providing and receiving services for I/DD in Denver. The Department of Human Services will use the results to better understand opinions and perspectives regarding access to services in Denver, barriers to accessing services and what is working and not working when people want to access mill levy dollars
