MDHI VISTA Project is Requesting Applications for Partner Sites
MDHI is pleased to be able to offer community partners an opportunity to apply to host a VISTA service member as part of our Homeless Crisis Response System VISTA project. VISTA members serve on the project full time for a year providing capacity building support for homeless services, housing focused programming, and community planning groups across the seven-county region. MDHI oversees and manages the grant, recently approved for a fifth year. Read the full RFP in the link below, and contact email@example.com with all questions.
Housing and Immigration Status
The OneHome team has put together some useful information related to subsidized housing and immigration status, as well as a links for downloadable "red cards" which list people's constitutional rights, and putting together a family preparedness plan.
Howard Burchman and the other good folks at Housing Innovations, LLC, put together a handy resource to help track all of the changes to the 2018 HUD Continuum of Care (CoC) Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). You can access the resource here. Thank you, Howard!
